Cute-BSPA Sports Carnival 2026 officially inaugurated on Tuesday amid festivity. The two-week sports festival is sponsored by Mousumi Industries Limited's popular brand 'Cute'.

The Sports Carnival was officially inaugurated at the Home of BSPA on Tuesday by National Sports Council Director (Sports) and former national team footballer Zahed Parvez Chowdhury and Executive Director of sponsor Mousumi Industries Limited (Cute) Mrs. Asma Ashrafi Saqlain.

In a welcome speech moderated by BSPA Joint Secretary Faisal Titumir, BSPA General Secretary Sudipta Ahmed Anand called for enjoying the thrill of the Sports Carnival and thanked the government and the sponsoring organization. Zahed Parvez Chowdhury assured all-out cooperation from the government. Mrs. Asma Ashrafi expressed hope that Cute will continue to work for the development of sports in the future.

Former General Secretaries Aminul Haque Mallick and Md. Samon Hossain, life member of the organization Selim Nazrul Haque, Finance Secretary Shahjahan Kabir, Sports and Cultural Secretary Raihan Uddin Russell, Sports Sub-Committee Chairman Kazi Shahidul Alam and many members of BSPA were present at the inaugural ceremony. This time, more than a hundred members of BSPA are participating in a total of 8 events and 12 disciplines.

The events include - Archery, Carrom (singles and doubles), Table Tennis (singles and doubles), Chess, Swimming, Athletics (100 meters and shot put), Card Games (Collbridge and Twenty-nine) and Shooting. All the games will be held at different venues of the Dhaka National Stadium Complex.
