Mohtasin Ahmed Hridoy and Sadia Rahman Mou secured the title in the men's and women's singles events, respectively, at the Open Prize-money Ranking Table Tennis Tournament. 

Javed finished as the runner-up in the men's category, while Reshmi Tanchangya was the runner-up in the women's category. 

Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan, MP, handed over prizes to the winners as chief guest following the conclusion of the matches at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium on Sunday. Special guests present at the event included BKSP Director General Brigadier General Mohammad Saif Ullah; Federation President and DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed; Vice-President Khandaker Hasan Munir; General Secretary Saidul Haque Sadi; and Tournament Committee Convener Anwar Kabir Chowdhury Babu.

In the Under-19 boys' singles, Abul Hasen Hasib won the title with Nafiz Iqbal as runner-up; in the girls' category, Khoi Khoi Sai Marma became the champion, and Reshmi Tanchangya was the runner-up. Mridul Rahman won the Under-15 boys' title with Shahin Ahmed as runner-up, while Jannat Islam Roza became the champion and Rafia Chowdhury the runner-up in the Under-15 girls' category. 

The four-day long event was inaugurated on Thursday at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium.

Presided over by Federation President Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, the event was attended by Vice-President Khandaker Hasan Munir, General Secretary Saidul Haque Sadi, and Treasurer Anwar Kabir Chowdhury Babu, among others.

The Open Prize-Money Ranking Table Tennis Tournament has kicked off with the participation of approximately 450 players across six events. The four-day competition features the following events: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Under-15 Boys' Singles, Under-15 Girls' Singles, Under-19 Boys' Singles, and Under-19 Girls' Singles.

This tournament is considered a selection event for the upcoming Asian Table Tennis Championships, as the 29th edition of the championships is scheduled to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from October 19 to 25. Three male and three female table tennis players will participate in that event. Those who perform well in this ranking tournament and hold strong rating points from the previous two editions will earn the opportunity to compete in the Asian Table Tennis Championships.
