The 'Football Handover Ceremony' was held on Wednesday at BFF Artificial Turf Field, on the occasion of the handover of footballs by the Pakistan High Commission to the Bangladesh Football Federation.

At the ceremony, the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Imran Haider, officially handed over 1,000 footballs to the President of the Bangladesh Football Federation, Mr. Tabith Awal. Before the ceremony, an exhibition match was held with the participation of two parts of the Bangladesh National Under-17 Women's Team.

The 1,000 footballs received as a gift from the Pakistan High Commission will be distributed in different regions for use in the development of football at the grassroots level in the country.

At this time, both sides expressed optimism about further strengthening sports cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Football will play an important role in further strengthening friendship, harmony and mutual relations between the people of the two countries. At the same time, they are also optimistic that such cooperation will make a positive contribution to the development of football at the grassroots level.

Tabith Awal, President of Bangladesh Football Federation, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Pakistan High Commission for this initiative. The cooperation of international partners plays an important role in the development and promotion of football in the country. Mr. Tabith Awal, Honorable President of Bangladesh Football Federation, expressed his hope that such cooperation will continue in the future.

On behalf of the Pakistan High Commission, H.E. Mr. Imran Haider, High Commissioner; Muhammad Wasif, Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Shabidullah, Counsellor (Press) and Zain Aziz, Trade and Investment Attaché were present at the event. On behalf of Bangladesh Football Federation, Vice Presidents Mr. Md. Sabbir Ahmed Aref and Mr. Fahad Karim, Executive Committee Members Mr. Md. Iqbal Hossain, Mr. Md. Manjurul Karim, Mr. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury and Mahfuza Akhter Kiron were also present. Mr. Imran Hossain Tushar, General Secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation was also present.
