Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain said that if there was any mistake in the vaccination management during the interim government, an investigation will be conducted after the crisis is over.

He said this at a press conference on the current status of government vaccination on Wednesday (May 13).

Sakhawat Hossain said, "I did not say that we will not investigate. We are now going through a crisis period. We will take a decision centrally only after this crisis is over." However, he said that the government is giving priority to ensuring the safety of children at this time rather than identifying the guilty party.

The minister said, "Before finding out what went wrong with the vaccination, we need to keep our mothers happy. That is what we are trying to do."

Stating that measles treatment is currently underway in the country, he added that isolation, ICU and medical services have been ensured for the infected and doctors are also working actively.
