In view of the preparations for the Asian Games, intensive practice and team building work has begun with the players of the Bangladesh national hockey team.

An internal practice match was organised on Sunday by dividing the 38 players called up in the preliminary camp into 3 separate groups. The head coach of the national hockey team, Peter Gerhardt, was present on the field and observed the entire match in depth.

The main objective of this match is to test the players' tactical skills, physical fitness and ability to adapt to match situations.

After the match, head coach Peter Gerhardt expressed his plan and said, "This practice match was very important to evaluate the current condition of the players and their performance on the field. Based on the performance of this match, we will be able to move on to the next stage."

The Bangladesh Hockey Federation hopes that through this rigorous practice and systematic selection process, it will be possible to form a strong and competitive final team for the Asian Games.

The national team will play a practice match with the Under-21 team on Monday, at 4 pm.
